Nostalgically speaking, wedding dresses embody lovely memories of one of the best days of your life. Practically speaking, that wedding dress is taking up room in your closet and may not be aging well, either. Full closure: Tightwad is hanging onto her wedding dress, and it MAY fit on the chance that Hubs wants to renew our vows - and she drops her muffin top. If this is where you are, zip that dress up and return it to your closet. If it's been years and it doesn't fit, or you can't ever imagine yourself wearing it again, consider donating it to charity or selling it online to recoup some of its cost. Maybe it's a matter of repurposing it as a cocktail dress or special occasion dress with a little tweeking, change in hemline or perhaps having it dyed? Perhaps reuse the fabric for a christening dress for a baby? Super sweet idea.
