A bit of planning can save you a ton of money when it comes to buying
throughout the year. You can't be impulsive when it comes to these things... just patient.
As the year's second quarter gets off to a quick start, there are a number of items that, if you are in the market to buy, are a good purchase to make April, May or June.
April is specifically a good time to buy raincoats, cruises and sneakers. Tightwad just did a search on save1.com for raincoats and found nothing less than 50% off raincoats today!
Other items that are good buys at this time of year are electronics (Japanese fiscal end of year is March), cookware and vacuum cleaners, when the new models come out. Get a head start on your spring cleaning!
Remember everything is cyclical, so if you miss out on this year, plan to update your cookware next May, or take advantage of the sales to put aside graduation and wedding presents.
