
If you are using a commerically prepared tomato sauce (let's all come out here people - it
can happen), instead of rinsing the bottom of the jar with water, try using a nice zin or cab sav. This will add robustness to your sauce whilst getting all of the sauce out of the jar. Then, Tightwad advises you to keep the rest of the vino for pouring in your glass.
Um, duhhhh.
