Forget posh nameplates and fancy pants place cards... reuse the paint strips you got to agonize over when repainting the hallway and create a fun and colourful way to ensure that your guests are sitting in just the spot you want. Cut off two colours from a strip, then fold to make a standing place card. If you have a spectrum of chips, match each person to their fav shade! Now the only problem Tightwad has is getting matching linens. Hmmm.

That's a great idea. I'm never sure what to do with old paint cards; now I have a solution. However, sometimes my paint cards get really beat up!
