Nancy over at the How To Homemaker has a great laundry tip: how to make your own dryer sheets. She recommends mixing 1/2 cup of fabric softener and 1 cup of water in a standard sized spray bottle. Mist an old washcloth and put it in the dryer with your wet clothes. Just shake the bottle before each application to mix the contents and remist the cloth for each dryer load, and remember to lable the bottle so you can find it, of course. You don't want to be spraying say, furniture polish or like, window cleaner on the cloth instead.
Anne at The Bored Mommy has figured out a good way to save her pennies on new books. She visits bookstores and takes photos of books she'd like to read with her cell phone. Then she goes to her local library and puts them on request. That way she's not fighting mommy brain racking her mind trying to remember an author or title when she's staring down a shelf of new reads at the library.
To soothe burns, Brenna at Aunt Bee's Garden says the best thing to do is add some lavender oil to a cool bath.
These are some great tips... please keep 'em coming!

Great tips. I've heard that lavendar, in many different forms, can be used for a bunch of things. Yet, I didn't know you could use the oil to cool a burn. Thanks for sharing these tips!
