Saving at the supermarket

Don't be fooled by those crafty merchandisers at your local supermarket. They've got it all figured out with product placement and your height. Look up or down - basically everywhere but eye level for the best prices. Some companies pay a slotting fee to place their product where consumers see them so brand names are usually promoted on mid-level shelves. More affordable brands and private label items are usually placed above or below. Tightwad is a total fan of generic anyhoo.

I've always found that staying out of the aisles as much as possible is the best way to save at the supermarket. Keeping away from processed foods lets us save too.

Great tips! I also look at the weight per unit price to ensure that I'm getting the most for my money.

Good read. I think that it is really important that people give importance to their financial status, goals and stability. Definitely a must-read for those who need help.
