Not just tasty and wholesome for breakfast, oatmeal is considered one of the best treatments out there for dry skin. Plain rolled oats can be used to make an effective natural skin cleanser, facial scrub and soothing face mask. This cereal grain helps to relieve dryness and restore natural balance to aid in healing minor irritations. When used as a skin cleanser, oatmeal actually absorbs and removes surface dirt and other impurities whilst gently exfoliating your skin. As a facial scrub, oatmeal gently removes dead skin cells, providing a natural, healthy and frugal glow.

I love oatmeal for breakfast during the school year, I add dried cranberries and brown sugar. It's easy for me to take to work in a small container.
I'll have to try it as a facial cleanser, I always have some on hand!
Your blog looks really neat - I'm a bit of a tightwad too!
