Apple cider vinegar: budget beauty

This stuff works miracles! Want shiny hair? A clear complexion? To reduce swelling in your feet and find an inexpensive detox solution? Heck yeah... bring it! Apple cider vinegar could be just the inexpensive elixir you are looking for. It should be an essential tool in your frugal fab facials because it is rich in alpha hydroxy acids which help dissolve fatty depositon on the skin's surface and reduce 'scaly conditions.' ACV promotes blood circulation, giving you that oh-so-sought-after glow, and is also an antiseptic superpower, able to combat yeasts, viruses, bacteria and tall buildings in a single leap.
Blemish buster: Dab some on before bed.
Dandruff defier: With a ratio of 1:3 cider to water, let it pentrate your hair, then wash with regular shampoo.
Hair shiny-upper: Rinse with ACV after shampoo to promote hair shine and get rid of shampoo residue (in a recycled shampoo bottle mix 1/2 cup of ACV with 1 quart of water and use every other day).
Facial toner: ACV can regulate the pH of your skin. Dilute ACV with two parts water and use as a facial toner.
Age spot reducer: Dab apple cider vinegar on age spots and leave them overnight to lighten their colour.
Swell swell reducer: Rub apple cider vinegar on your hands and feet to reduce swelling and aching after a long day (Tightwad likes this on in particular).
Sunburn aid: Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath and soak for ten minutes.
Stainfighter: Brushing with apple cider vinegar helps to remove stains on your teeth.
Weight loss without the embarrassing weigh-in: Promote weight loss with two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to 10 oz of water... or just down it in one fell swoop.
Detoxifier: Mix 2 tablespoons of ACV to a large water. Sip throughout the day.

Love this stuff! When I am sick, I will heat up a cup of water, add some apple cider vinegar and some honey. It breaks up all of the congestion and makes me feel better.
