Hyperventilating at the price of a bunch of flowers at your local grocery store? Here are some ideas for tightwad grrl alternatives: visit a local farmer’s market and pick up a dried arrangement or make one from organic herbs. Or, dry some perennial cuttings from your garden. You could get really creative - did you know that broccoli, cauliflower and artichokes are all flowers? Another route - opt for a potted indoor plant which will have some decent stay power. However; nothing, in this gal’s opinion, can beat dried lavender for its scent, appearance and longevity. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
